Video Games Addiction

Questions:

1. How do most teens get Addicted to video games?
2. What are some symptoms or signs for video game addiction?
3. Do parents know what their child be playing?
4. What are the ratings?
5. Do teens get influence by a video game and start doing bad things?

Answers:

1. Most teens get addicted to a video games due to the process of the game being design. For example adding more levels, rewards, challenging levels that need to be complete to get a new avatar etc. And it also depends if they be playing a violent game that includes shooting, violence, drug use etc. Teens want to reach that point to see what happens. And that where the addiction starts to pop out more.

2. Signs of being addicted to a video game are...

  • Not wanting to eat or do anything except playing.
  • Doing poorly at school.
  • Playing at night instead of going to sleep.

3. From what I know parents don't know what kind of video games their child be p
laying at home. They don't even know that each game has a rating in the back explaining  what ages are appropriate to play and what includes in that game. And from that it could do some effect to their child like committing a crime or even homicide etc. So its important as a parent to know what game you are buying for your child or what your child Is already playing it doesn't harm you to keep an eye on your child it for a good.

4. The ratings explain information of the content in the video games. Like giving a quick summary on what the game about. What includes in it like for example strong language use, intense violence, blood etc.

5. Well I think it depends on the person maybe it he/she having problems or feel some type of way. Theirs a great chance of them doing a crime or commit suicide. And some teens due to playing to much violent videos games can go crazy.  Start making the game real life trying to see what happens, experimenting the world by killing others etc and that's not good.
